  • Feel Something

I used to feel everything, your heartbeat, your touch, the warmth of your skin.

I felt my heart break when you walked away - not looking back once.

I felt the ache every night after that while you were perfectly alright.

I was tired of hurting, tired of feeling so I turned it all off.

I made mistakes trying to make myself forget the way you felt.

  • Do you remember ‘us’?

Do you remember the way we used to kiss?

The ‘were just friends’ as we proceeded to have our first on our friends floor?

The shyness, the unsureness, the excitement.

The months of not being together, but being each other’s and every kiss was filled with fire and we could feel each others desires.

Do you remember our first fight?

Me crying in your kitchen with the early morning light. You hurt me then and swore it would be the last.

Do you remember the first time you said that you loved me?

What about the day you said you wanted to spend the rest of your life with me?

Do you remember the promises made and letters sent?

What happened to forever? What happened to ‘hand in hand’?

Do you remember what you said when we broke up?

Do you remember how you said you loved me anyway and always would? That you understand and that you just wanted to make me happy.

Do you remember the last time we saw each other, how we missed each other and how we held each other - never wanting to let go?

Do you remember saying that you miss me, that you miss us?

Do you remember the butterflies a simple touch of the hand would do?

Do you remember our last kiss? How different it was from our first?

The desire gone, the hope, the passion - all gone.

Somewhere along the way we lost each other, we started expecting the other to be who we wanted them to be and not who they were.

Do you remember when we lost us?

  • Just Another Thought

    fuelledbyfeels:

Just for a moment, imagine this …

    Imagine meeting someone.

A moment so ordinary that you can barely remember it happening at all.

Imagine, that after meeting them, you find yourself thinking about what they’re up to.

    Innocent right?

Imagine, always seemingly running into them. Purely by accident.

Imagine, slowly spending more and more time with them.

Imagine yourself going out of your way to see them.

Laughing at all the same jokes, smiling at all the same moments, and catching each other staring just a second longer than you probably should. (Or was it a minute… You lose track of time like that)

Your schedule slowly, day by day revolving around seeing them as often as then can.

You tell yourself that it’s nothing special, but deep down inside.. You can’t explain it, but it’s more special than you care to admit.

Imagine, laying in bed; wondering if they’ve ever felt how you feel right now.

The idea of not knowing them, never running into them; seems undoubtedly insane. That idea is absurd, and your life isn’t the same without their energy.

Imagine that they feel the exact same way.

Butterflies in your stomach, becoming nervous to see someone who was once a stranger.

    Imagine that ordinary moment.

Realize, that they made it so much more.

You were in denial. You know you remembered that entire moment, down to how you felt the moment you heard that stranger’s voice for the first time.

Just something to think about.. Did someone cross your mind? … I know someone crossed mine.
